The program starts at 6 pm and will be guided by Mary Molina Mescall, Executive Director, NM Commission on the Status of Women. Lights of Life symbolize the hope we have for both the women and men living with breast cancer and for a future in which cancer is prevented or cured. Each luminaria has the name of a person who has been touched by breast cancer. A tree will be set up in the vestibule and will be decorated by ribbons tied to the branches by participants who wish to remember a friend or relative touched by breast cancer. A reception with light refreshments rounds out the evening. If you are interested in purchasing a Light of Life and Hope, for a suggested donation of $10.00 each, please call PLTC at (505) 242-3263.
